Hope you didn't get too wet taking this one Bazza.

Funny how the canal narrows as it passes under the bridge. Our canal at home (the bridgewater canal) stays the same width. It must be some sort of 'Barge Calming' idea.

I think its so the barges cannot hit the roof of the bridge and passes under the highest point.
