Not Out !

Lovely Barn Owl shot Bazza.

I'm yet to photograph a wild one - plenty of Tawny Owls around the house making a racket but no luck so far......

Your lucky, we dont even get so much as a sparrow in our garden!.

It is a lovely shot, but i would have gone for a wider aperture to isolate the bird more x

Very nice exposure. Not quite sure about the composition though. I would have eliminated more of the right side of the photo.

Sorry DC and BOB but any alterations would ruin the picture to my mind. A nature picture should try to have foreground - subject - background - and perspective.
The rule of thirds doesn't always apply as in this case. Remove any one of these and the picture is nothing in my opinion.
But to all thank you for your replies and everyone for their ideas.
