Most cameras these days have a 'red-eye' remove function on post process - have a look in the manual

I'm not sure it works with animals Azz - I've never found it to, because it's green not red perhaps?

Hayley hope you dont mind I had a go at removing the green eye from the nice wee dog. I used the paint bucket in Photoshop to fill the area with black.
Then used the clone tool to touch up the edges around the eye hope you like this. Maybe somone will have an easier way to do it.

I've researched this topic before. Google the situation and you'll find there is free software out there to remove cat & doggie eye.

Much the same as Goggs, but I used the paint brush set at 70% opacity to get some depth to the eyes.
