Hi DD

I really like this shot.
I don't know if you watched the documentary on the BBC last night about Ron Gallella, but this image has echos of some of the candid shots that made him famous.....or should I say infamous?

Nice. Great framing on that DD - I would consider lightening it a little bit, and maybe emphasising his eyes while you're at it

thank you both - i got my first dslr the other day and this is one of the first shots on it

didnt watch documentary but i shall have a look about him!

how would i emphasise the eyes?

I love the mood of this picture.
I agree with Azz that it could do with lightening a bit, but I think the eyes stand out nicely as they are.
