My Mum

probably not the most flattering pic and she did'nt know i was taking it but there is something about it I quite like!

That is a great picture! You could enhance it by cropping the left fence/ wall away and playing a little with the contrast and tones to get the best from it. The expression and composition is really good.

Sadly though as a guy I was always told to look at the mum to see what the daughter I was about to date would turn out like!! This one won't do you any favours...

Haha!! such a kind comment...
she does look quite rough in this pic... i dont like it very much in that it doesnt remind me of her, but it makes a good picture!

What an awful thing to say, even in jest. Prior to reading this post I was reading the mission statement on the home page where it says:

Come and join in – you'll be glad you did! Just check out our Photography forum to see what a friendly bunch we are!

Perhaps you should read it once in a while BC.
