It's winter

The time of year when we get the dreaded power cuts, I got this small petrol genenrator 18 months ago from Aldi, £60, it's a two-stroke engine and it's not too noisy, power output 240 volts, 750 watts, that's enough to power a few lights, your freezer, and your TV, also not forgetting the PC.

It runs on unleaded.

Re: It's winter

That a good buy Nero.

We've got a diesel powered generator in one of the barns. We get quite a few power cuts, especially in the bad weather. Our generator was a blessing.

Re: It's winter

Blimey! We only ever get power cuts here if workmen cut into a line or something

£60 seems quite cheap tho!
