Photography at Uni?
I wasn't planning on going to uni at first because i don't know what i want to do for a career yet and there isn't any particular course that really interests me. but i do like photography and want to know more about it... do you reckon it would be worth it to do a photography course at uni? im not expecting to become a photographer for my living but i do like it am interested in it and want to learn more...?

I would have thought that it is a pretty intensive degree so unless it is a career choice then it might dampen your interest.
I would also think that the competition for places is huge and that you have to pretty talented and competant before even starting.
If you are interested in leaning more and developing your skills then maybe start with an evening course. Some have them have certification.

Agree with Little me. I think you need to work out what you want from the course first - it isn't an easy course, so you will need some good motivation in order to complete it

oh i would like for it to be my career, but i understand that there's loads of competition and it's not something that i can rely on i guess...
maybe ill look into evening class instead then.

Remember one can have the highest qualifications going, but if the knowledge can't be applied in a practical way its useless.

I think an evening class or even joining a camera club may give you the sort of progression you're after
