An Argyle and Sutherland Highlander
This is my dad, taken in 1945, after the German surrender, it's one of my favourites.

What a great scan Nero, I like it very much, after coming through the war he looks so happy.
Maybe there should be a special folder made up on this site for scans?

remember the pics posted are'nt the best quality cos they're from old prints and there's only so much you can do with em, but I've got dozens of em and it's nice to look back many years, some of you may like to see how us OLDIES managed to cope before digital.
