Tiger Roar!

A picture I'm quite happy with really and was lucky to get, got it when trying out with my new camera

The above was just cropped and 'auto-fixed' on picnik

Below has had a border added and a tiny bit of contrast added....which do you think looks better?

Re: Tiger Roar!

Nice - I think overall I prefer the top one

I think the key to taking photos in a zoo/wildlife park is to try and get a shot that hides that fact it is there. Check out some of Dawns shots she does a really good job of that

Re: Tiger Roar!

Thanks guys

I did try and get the best angles to get rid of captive scenery...hard to do when trying to get through 30 children and find the places on the glass with the lest handprints! I was just chuffed to get a shot of it doing this face!

Is this one any better captive-wise? I've seen Dawn's, they're excellent, love the lion ones with black background.

Re: Tiger Roar!

I think all three are really good, really like the first one, how did you find the camera, in a zoo situation?

Re: Tiger Roar!

Thanks Moonstone
I found it good, if the glass was fairly clear it focused well, but it struggled with some of the dirtier glass! I was happy with a lot of the pictures I took, and it really gave me a good chance to get into the manual settings...I'll be posting more of the pictures very soon so you can judge for yourself how it did
