Introducing ..... Lily

Introducing Lily, properly to the forum ... she's a stripey, spotty ball of energy.

I had totally forgotten how much energy kittens/young cats have or how high they can climb Lily is settling in very well, seems to be adjusting to being in a house, and the various noises etc,let Daisy in the room with her today for a while, and it went better than I dared hope, so really pleased with how it's all going.

She is very friendly, and purrs like a tractor, she is unsure if you stand above her, or walk , but as soon as you are on the floor or chair, she resumes purring. It's all going to take time , but I am sure she will soon not bat an eye lid, at the normal chaos here She talks a lot, like no other cat I have had before, so must learn how to use the video camera properly so I can bore you all with it

Anyway here are a few, I didn't want to freak her out, getting too close with my camera like I can with Daisy, so sat still, and grabbed what I could without moving.

I promise to not go and bore you with too many pics, xxxx

Re: Introducing ..... Lily

She does have gorgeous eyes, and I love her markings.

BC- I love no2 because she was being nosey, and coming up to the scary black camera, she does look all eyes, and pleading though.

She's had another face to face with Daisy, and it's all going well, except when she tried to cuddle up to Daisy, but Daisy just gave a bit of a grumble, and Lily then sat near her but not right next to her, and Daisy was then fine,so will just keep doing it slowly, and lengthen each time a little. The dogs and her, have had a sniff of each other, and getting used to each others smells,Meg went into instant Mum mode washing her, and Mack was very curious, but not too excitable, so feeling a bit more relaxed now.

The shelter got in touch this morning, to say there had been a mix up on her paperwork, when she was transferred, she is just over 4 months, not just over 6, they were worried I would want to send her back, as it was one of my search criteria, any kitten or cat but had to be at least 6 months, because a tiny kitten with the clumsy dogs etc. TBH because of how big she is, I never thought she could be younger.Anyway, she stays
