Sultans Of Ping and Hope Is Noise at the Savoy
Went to see the Sultans Of Ping last night in The Savoy in Cork... very interesting gig indeed... 
This is the first time I've done this sort of photography - I've shot bands before, but only ever jazz and folk stuff - so this is very different - and fighting with large crowds of drunks while hanging on for dear life to my poor camera was an interesting experience! Still, I was very pleased with some of these shots! I knew with how dark it was I couldn't go for airbrushed quality portraits - so I went for rough and ready, grainy images 
I think they work!

Have just found out that the band are in fact called 'Hope Is Noise' not 'Hopeless Noise' - mind - the latter was more fitting!

Hi Laura, absolutey love #1. Why so many in B&W though, I'm sure colour would enhance some of the others.
