Gentle Soul
This is Tilly, my introduction into Greyhounds. Apologies if I've posted this before. It's not the best quality shot, but in terms of having her eye in colour and rest black and white, does that work, or distract from the picture? I know it would probably be less likely to work with Axel as he's black already, so thought I'd try Tilly.

I think it's quite sweet 
I'm not sure if it works that well as a mono shot, because there's a bit too much grey, and not enough black and white - so it looks a bit lacking in contrast. Having said that, I think the colour pop on the eye is very sweet!

I see what you mean, maybe her fur blends into the background too much, I may be able to get a bit more contrast in or add subtle colour to the boy and leave the eye popping...I agree with you though, thanks

Try increasing the contrast Might help Do you have the original? I wouldn't mind a play about with it if you do?

I don't know what it looks like in color, but I like the mono shot.
Though I'd probably increase contrast and add some sepia brown.

I would paint the fence with green preserative first, then your Greyhound would stand out more.
