Lake Conroe

All shot on little P&S, I used the Auto for the first time and I noticed that because the light was constantly changing, as it was getting later in the day, the camera seemed to be a bit inconsistent, in exposure and colour. So guess the reviews were right, you really need to use the Manual, and use your settings to get the best out of the camera, so won't be using the Auto again.

I live close to Lake Conroe,it's 20 miles long and it's a great place to hang out, fishing, swimming, watersports etc. Went for a swim and had a BBQ yesterday afternoon, every time I go,it makes me want a boat but I'll settle for a Jetski
Seriously, there are some stunning houses and boats, and I am guessing they cost some serious money. So, I'm doing the lottery and crossing my fingers

I want to put my house just here, so I can look out of my windows and see the lake everyday.

Palm tree

Spanish Moss in the trees

I love Palm Trees

Testing the water, before getting changed, it was just right, though Luke thought it was too cold

More Palm Trees..

Lots of birds, but my P&S wasn't very good for capturing them, did get some Black Vultures(on another thread) and a few cute but fairly pants duck piccies

Cuteness

Muscovy duck, with other duck suddenly poking his head in, as I pressed the button

This little one,had a bit of a limp

Re: Lake Conroe

It is lovely, and I am addicted to Palm Trees going to get one for the back garden, maybe two and then I can hang a hammock between them I love Spanish Moss too.

Laura the Muscovies were very bold, and will go back and get better pics, and I loved the ducklings
