She's a pretty girl, has a very feminine face, I too love the light, it's really highlights her face well. I think I prefer the second one, you can see more of the dappled light, and I like the effect it creates.

Proud, beautiful dog!

I love the second picture, because the eye is brighter, which - for me - makes it more expressive.
