Super harvest moon tonight

Quote:
Sept. 22, 2010: For the first time in almost 20 years, northern autumn is beginning on the night of a full Moon. The coincidence sets the stage for a "Super Harvest Moon" and a must-see sky show to mark the change of seasons.

The action begins at sunset on Sept 22nd, the last day of northern summer. As the sun sinks in the west, bringing the season to a close, the full Harvest Moon will rise in the east, heralding the start of fall. The two sources of light will mix together to create a kind of 360-degree, summer-autumn twilight glow that is only seen on rare occasions.

I'm sure someone could make the most of this and take a stunning picture.

Okay, where do you want me to pose, my rates are reasonable a bag of chips, and a pint will do

Sounds really cool, I have yet to capture one of these natural events that happen, I always end up with blurs, dots or clouds But, look forward to seeing what others do x

Re: Super harvest moon tonight

OK! Soooo... I didn't manage any harvest moon shots... not proper harvesty ones, but it's awfully special to watch <3 it's so bright out! I did get a normal full moon shot though, which was nice!

Re: Super harvest moon tonight

So far, it's hiding behind clouds, but the clouds are a nice orange maybe as it gets darker, I will get a better chance
