With or without border?

I've been practicing on my lovely Axel, would like to know your opinions on a picture I took yesterday, I'm quite happy with it. I'd like to know if it looks better as a finished picture with or without the border? Also, is the picture any good in itself?

Thanks

Re: With or without border?

I'm not keen on that border tbh, would prefer something more subtle, like this:

Kit 1
Nikon D300
Nikon 55-200mm VR
Kit 2
Nikon D40
Nikon 18-55mm
My Compact/P&S: Panasonic Lumix TZ7

Thanks Azz, I like that border too, nice and simple

Thanks for the contrast boost, didn't realise it would make his eyes 'pop' so much!!! Love it

Re: With or without border?

He looks very settled now and happy xx

I prefer without the vignette type border , with a tweak of the contrast.

He's a stunning boy x
