I was interested in the rc cars too for a little while but decided on the electric rc planes You must have been very good and really into it to win some trophy's. There are big improvments in the electric rc model plane world, not just from the quality of lots of kits and lipo battery technology available, but the actual transmitter and recievers. You can now buy 2.4GHZ radio gear which means no more crystals and no more interference/glitches.

I still have the FM radio equipment in all my models ,but I will replace it eventually with the new gear.

Thanks pepsi No I've not been flying much lately, I think the last time I flew one of my models was sometime last summer, and that was with an other model (delta flying wing). I'm a member of a flying club near where I live and have been a member for about 4years now. Most of the members fly IC planes, I think I'm the only one who fly's electric with the exception of a few who have electric gliders. I have another website with videos and pics of my models if you are interested www.ercm.eu although this website will be getting a makeover and transferred to my new webspace soon.
I've not heard of the mascot trainer and could not find any info on it either

Re: My weekend flyer :-)

Nice plane DJ There are flying spots at both our local walks but I must admit I do avoid them. A friend used to fly model aircraft (a helicoper though, not a plane) and after seeing them lose control of theirs (several years ago now) I won't take the dogs snywhere near where I know people are flying.
