Cape Peninsula Landscapes
During a trip to the Cape peninsula recently, my horribly neglected camera was hauled out of mothballs. I have to say that, rusty as I am, I had great fun with it, got drenched, freezing cold and frustrated, but it was good reconnecting with the old friend!
A rockpool on the western side of the Cape peninsula.
In the Cape Point Nature Reserve (right on the south-most tip of Africa) a cross commemorating the explorer Diaz overlooks False Bay
Weird, tough little shrubs grow in the rocks right at the water’s edge. I tried to emphasis the tree-like look of the plants with the low point of view.
