Re: Pink

Thanks, being printed on a black wrap canvas, as all my picture frames are black, this is intended for the dining room. Works out cheaper than buying art work for the walls, plus they are one offs too

Re: Pink

As you know I always try and give an honest answer about a photo even if others feel my comments are unjust. To me the whole picture looks over exposed and flat. To try and redeem it has been done by vingretting the sides.
Maybe this was the object of the photo being done like this but for me it just doesn't work. Sorry Moonie but I have seen far far better pictures from you.

Re: Pink

over exposed??? where??? Which bit do you think is blown?
It is certainly nice and bright but I can see light and shade with plenty of contrast. Maybe you need to check your monitor because on mine it does't look over exposed at all.

Re: Pink

I love it and it doesn't look over exposed on my screen either. I would love to put it on my wall.

Re: Pink

I haven't tried to redeem it Bazza, it's been editing that way on purpose, as I wanted the bright pink desaturated, and added a textured layer. Which is why it's in the edited section, I haven't said this is a natural, lifelike photo of a pink flower.

As for flat and over exposed, that's not what I am seeing, I can see plenty of tone and contrast.

Thanks PD xx
