A couple more shots from Loch lomond

A few more shots taken at Milarrochy bay, Loch lomond.

1)This one is a 634sec exposure using my 10 stop and I might have used my polariser as well. This was the most difficult one to shoot as I had to climb part of a tree and lean over to look through the viewfinder as it was positioned between two large branches at maximum height on my tripod to avoid twigs and brush etc. Good composition I thought but maybe would have turned out better if I had waited a bit longer for the Sun to drop further behind the mountains and could have got more detail on the rocks as well.

Another one of the tree

hope they load ok for you

Really nice Grant - Agree with you about the composition.

Those did load quicker - they came straight in at the forum size (I think)

Re: A couple more shots from Loch lomond

I was just thinking about your comment regarding the timing of the sun as it drops behind the hills. You tend to think the sun stays quite still but when it hits the horizon you appreciate just how quickly it does go.

With that in mind you've done really well as with a ten and a half minute exposure - you only really get one shot at it.

Re: A couple more shots from Loch lomond

Thanks Sam. Funny thing is, I was not so sure about posting these never mind selling them, these were my last choice from my original post.

I think I will add the first one to red bubble and alamy now, thanks for the comment
