Looks like a German Wirehaired Pointer.
Lovely dogs.
That said my friends Spinones (not typical) both look almost identical.

Could be Azz, there top hight is 26 inches tall to the shoulder. My spinone looks nothing like the dog in the pic! - But then hes a pet bred, chubby lad, not the typical working type.

Azz, I looked hard at this image when I first viewed it because the dog looked much larger than I remembered it. Comparison with the car wheel should give a good idea of the size and yes, the lady with the dog was, as I recall of small stature, probably no more than 5'-4".

Id say GWP, but possibly a Korthals Griffon, but wouldnt of thought so.
