Couple of candids

Nice candids there Jeff, I particularly like the first one - you get the feeling something is about to kick off

Hi Azz, what was kicking off was an elderly rock band at the Alcester town fete, and pretty good they were. What I personaly thought was this guy didn't know whether he was coming or going.

On the second one it was the guy in the passage that intrigued me, who was he phoning??

I like the first one and black and white works well in this instance. As most of us aren't rockers or goths, the guy on the right is immediatly intriguing. Ashot of him from behind on his own is intriguing enough. I can't decide if it works best with that girls face in the background or not, maybe not. I didn't know Pink Floyd played Alcester fete.

The second one is a candid but not in the style I tend to prefer (not that you took it to please me! ) I sort of feel it is the sort of thing from a family wedding or party, not so much a street capture in the style mostly seen. I don't feel any intrigue about the guy on the phone, rather he is just there and we see many people on the phone. In fact the picture actually works better for me cropped so he isn't in it. It is however a brilliantly captured moment of the guy yawning, or maybe shouting his mate sort of a bit of fun for friends and family. Maybe even cropped to make it look like he is yawning, bored waiting for his (daughter/girlfriend) on the phone.

I'm inclined to go with the comments made by BC and would get rid of the chap on the phone and the girl who is showing a face, sounds almost like Midsomer Murders!

Do admire you people who are able to point your camera at people uninvited, I try but totally loose my nerve. The do make very interesting shots I wish I dared.

I left the girl in the left in the picture as I was amused by everyone wearing their sunglasses anywhere but in front of their eyes.

...absolutely, and I'd encourage people to give feedback to those who contribute pictures if they want it. Feedback makes people look at pictures another way, through someones else viewpoint and we all can learn something. You don't necessarily have to agree or like the picture. People posting pictures and feedback from the viewers makes this forum.

I just noticed Jeff you don't have the C&C flag set for comment... ooops!

Did not notice either, sorry, I seem to assume that people want comment I must watch that.

Can't find where I do that.
