Re: Pupster

Think your camera is a point and shoot so you will have to go with what the camera thinks is best. Try to get down to the level of the pup (if your knees allow) use the best light you can and make sure the camera has time to focus, squeeze the release smoothly and try to brace ourself.

Beyond that you could try using the wide end of the lens and getting in a bit closer, sorry not a lot of help as I do not know the camera. Judging by the second shot you can get good sharp shots so I think it may be a case of self control and not trying to get your shots too quickly, steady yourself and take a deep breath before you squeeze the trigger.

Having said that I am the worlds worst at rushing my shots, so really you either learn to throw the missed shots out or to take your time - I chuck loads out if I am honest.

Re: Pupster

If you can stick to good light the shutter will work quicker and you will get less that are fuzzy - avoid dull and over cast if you can or use the flash.

As an Elkhound owner I know about moving dogs, mine are either moving or asleep.
