Re: Night time raider

Azz it was standing there bold as brass eating the fallen bird seed. Just grabbed the camera which had the 70-300mm lens on, so stuck the SB900 flashgun on at took a chance the photo would come out. Had to lighten it a bit with editing .

Re: Night time raider

You have all this lovely wildlife there Bazza, why not camp out there one night for a few hours to get some lovely shots? Set some 'food' in a position and your lighting ready... I bet you would get some nice shots.

Re: Night time raider

Yes one advantage of being in the country, semi tame pheasants- weasels- wild foxes
and at the last count about 26 different bird varieties all visiting our small orchard

Nice to see Bazza - well done all things considered.

Interesting to know that they come for the spent bird feed - that might explain the comotion the other night when I let the dogs out.

She has dont worry. I think this one may be heading for a kinder end than it would "Naturally" be destined for, as you can see its back end and tail is full of mange. Most likely the reason Bazza was able to take photos of it with such ease. Since the ban (personal feelings aside) we have seen a huge increase in mange ridden Foxes, its awful to see, there is not enough land for the massive increase in breeding numbers with no control.
