Prefer the first one here NC - the second needs more breathing room at the top imo.

I think I cropped it too much I just keep remembering what my tutor said to me crop out things but then I think I crop too much out.

I agree with Azz that the second one feels too cramped.
The first one has much better balance about it.

Agree about the crop but that aside I think they're good images (lovely contrast) and kind of sum up the lovely lazy scenes you get of parkland deer - much like the ones at Tatton Park near where I used to live.

I really like the first one, it looks so green and peaceful, not to mention neat and tidy! The tree on the left looks fantastic - I think that deserves a picture of it's own, next time you're there!
