Re: Holiday in the Lake District

Gorgeous shots Makes me want to be up there again!

My faves are 9, 11 and 13... although on 13 i would have cropped out that fence that runs along the bottom edge of the picture

Re: Holiday in the Lake District

The Friday was lovely... if a little on the cold side lol! But Saturday was horrible!! and Sunday even worse! lol Was a nightmare for taking pictures and the one thing that annoyed me was passing a lake just outside Ambleside (not lake windermere) the water was still and the hills were perfectly reflected in the water... couldn't stop as its a busy main road.. so we found a carpark and by the time we had walked back the 100 yards or so to the lake, the wind had picked up and the lake was all rippled!! i was so annoyed... then it started to rain lol!

Doh!!! So annoying when that happens! We headed back home on the saturday and thought then that we'd had the best of the weather so you've confirmed that for me
