do you remember this

i done the sky in elements after fighting my way through it

Looks much better with the 'new' sky although there's now a bit less contrast in the building and trees.

Nice sky. But as Phil said, there is less contrast in the foreground now.
They did need a bit of lightening, but they seem a little flat now.

If you tell us the process you used we may be able to help.
Did you place the sky over the whole picture or did you mask back on the building etc.

i am using elements 8,selected the 2 pictures i wanted,sky as background,used the magic wand to select the building and trees,inverted the building,clik on move button,drag and drop the building on the sky background,
then went over the gaps in the trees that were showing the old background with the eraser,
enjoyed doing it but it looks like i cut the building out and stuck it on the background,the edges need softening ,,,,,"i think" open to comment ,maybe this should have gone in the beginner 52 ?
P.S i lost the flag as well

Much better, but a little washed out, as others have said - still, it's a step in the right direction - you're getting there!
