Siberian Husky Racing
Taken in Wareham Forest (what is left of it after the tree cutting there!), taken as the dogs aproach the first corner off the start line. Shot taken with sun just to the left of the shot. I tried to be in a place where the sun wasn't so direct, but there wasn't many positions where the dogs were still fresh off the start, positions where the shot would be interesting and where the sun wasn't making it hard work for me LOL
5D mkII with 70-200mm IS L USM and Polarising filter to try and not have so much glare from the sun.
I like this shot because of the position of the dogs feet and the musher being slightly out of focus to put emphasis the importance of the dogs (plus mushers don't like their photos of them all red faced!). If i could have used a flash to bring back some detail in shaddows then i would have.

I really like the emphasis on the dogs too, and the expressions of them are great, so keen and excited
