Spotted by the River

As the title says, I have no idea what sort of bird this is. I was really just playing with zoom and depth of field.

Lumix FZ-28 (not quite an SLR but more versatile)

It's a sort of Tern. Either a Crested Tern or Lesser Crested Tern at a guess. Lovely shot too - lucky thing!

Little Me
I took it using my Lumix FZ28 at full 18x optical extended to 27x using digital zoom.

I usually avoid digital zoom like a plague, but this time it worked OK.
