Black on black. (Border Terrier)

I did these this morning, loads of natural light, so I angled the blinds to get the best effect. I did wonder if the black pup on a black background would work, what do you think?

I think the natural light has worked really well,good catchlights in the eyes.

Plus the background is more of a grey black, so there is a difference between it and the subject

I like 4,5 and 7 best, the expressions captured, cheeky but cute

I think that pup would look cute no matter what colour the background was! Great shots

Terrific shots!! #5 in particular. Are you going to try a light background? - would be interesting to see how it affects the photos.

I did do a brownish colour Sam, I didnt think it was quite so good, but will try a cream soon. Thanks.
