More still life...
I tried some new techniques today, using a desk lamp (one that clamps onto the surface), my big flash, and photographic paper...
Here are my favourites (originally 140 pictures... narrowed down to 25 decent images....)

The following few pictures i tried something different... i made a makeshift lightbox by turning the lamp upside down and resting it on the floor. I used one of Lupo's huge black pillows as a backdrop and also to help rest my glass chessboard against so the lamp ism't taking all the weight of it, and shone the lamp up through the glass.
I came up with these images:

wow wow & wow !! they are soooo sharp, fantastic images sam 
is the flash making the image sharp ? as i notice KK also got sharp images and she have new flash too.Ive tried doing still life but they are not so sharp only use window light 
god so jealous

I think the flash just enhances the edges and with the flash you get faster shutter speeds so everything will look sharper.
