A few I`d forgotten [ Bugs, none with 8 legs ]

Thread title is for the benefit of phobics about bugs with more than 7 and less than 9 legs, please non-phobics be respectful of those of us who are by not trying to be funny about it, thank you [ this is why I have`nt wanted to post o the Post a Pic bug thread `just in case` of what might be there ]

Anyhoo, I was going through pics I`d taken a while back and came across some I`d forgotten about, nothing special but I quite like them anyway as first attempts of this kind

For an idea of size, the cute little bug in 1,2 and 3 was on a deck chair, the fabric weave is about the same size as denim jeans fabric. No idea what the bug was but will see what I can find on good ol` google.
Wish I`d had my +4 filter at the time but having it now gives me the incentive to re-try and improve on these sort of shots next time the opportunity arises

Thanks for looking

1st looks like some sort of soldier beetle! Great shots Patch! DOF is not your friend at this close range, and working in macro regions. I really like number 1 and number 3 - the colour of the chair works well with the beetle!

Fanx guys
I know there are plenty of ways I need to improve on these sort of shots but I`m glad I have these early one`s as a benchmark to work from, I will keep practising

Zoundz bless you, I looked up Soldier Beetle and yep that`s what the little chap is, it never occurred to me it was a beetle type, now I know what it is I have learned something new, thank you
Number 3 is my personal favourite, such a cute little fella
