Collies and Friends

Rain in our neck of the woods means things get greener and all sorts of things amble around to drink and wallow in the puddles

Gryphon wouldn't put his ears forward, think he could hear something coming...

Please can I get in now. Please, please, nice red mud, it will take weeks to come out!

Never mind the background, is now a good time to mention that you are making me sit on an ant's nest?

OK, he's looking my way - time to go!

Re: Collies and Friends

I also like number two. Very nice composition.

I love the fact that you've captured that fleeting glance between both animals in picture number four too.

Nice set of shots.

And I also love the fact that this forum allows us to see and discuss images from all over the world, and see things that people take for granted in their own country, but amaze and excite others who aren't used to them, like the shots above, or DJ's Scottish landscapes, or Bob's shots from the American Pacific North West. I love that we can share all of this.

In another thread, Samwise was taking pictures of the rain, which he rarely sees, whereas here in Scotland, it's the Sun that we rarely see, as it seems to rain all the time. The landscapes are so different in both countries too.
And I can't imagine ever taking a shot of my Logan with an Elephant walking in the background. It's just amazing.

Re: Collies and Friends

Many thanks, everyone, your comments are greatly appreciated!

I agree that it is fascinating to see everyone's pictures taken in different parts of the world, how the landscape varies (or is similar) and what people see around them - the advantage a great forum!
