Re: Portrait of Weston again - any better?

Again I like the concept but think I would like the two sides evened out a bit, in other words a little less burn out on the left and a little more light on the right only still keep some contrast between the two sides, the eyes are wonderful so clear and intense. Now I don't like air brushing and the like on children but in this case I think I would have tried to smooth the skin on the right side of the face to counteract the slight imperfections brought out by the shadowy lighting. On the other hand I could be talking twaddle can only say what I would like to do.

Re: Portrait of Weston again - any better?

Agree with you about the use of photobucket it does do strange things to all aspects of an image, think flickr is better but I can't workout how to use the link from there, mind you, you may have no trouble.

Re: Portrait of Weston again - any better?

Ah k.. you've done pretty well there, what I'd look at again is just the left hand side, the shoulder and a bit of the hair/ear - try to get them more natural looking. Should be spot on then
