Ah! Now your wrong there Bazza, the P80 removes it's own lens cap so there only two ways. The first, don't turn it on, the second, leave the card in the reader. Both will stop you taking out of focus and badly composed images too, useful information perhaps we need to ask Azz to move this to the Hints section.
