Why is this?!?!?!? It wasn't doing it the other day, I don't understand??? Please help,I have to rescue these images?!?!?!

Re: Massive Photoshop/Bridge problem, pls help???

CR2 files are the raw files from the 5D and they will not open up directly in Photoshop. You have to process them in Bridge (or other Raw converter) and then pass them over to PS to work on them.

Re: Massive Photoshop/Bridge problem, pls help???

Glad you got it sorted.

I'm a hoarder and don't get rid of much.

On top of what I have listed I also have a Canon Eos 3 film camera which is still in use regularly, a Bronica SQ-AI with 3 lenses 2 film backs, and a myriad of accessories and ancillary equipment for the cameras.

I should start up my own camera museum

I'm thinking about buying an eos 3, I have just bought my Hasselblad 503cw which is stunning, really love it The Bronica sounds great, one of my friends in Uni has one and he swears by it which do you prefer film or digital?

That is a difficult one.

For pure quality of image I don't think you can beat a 6 x 6 Velvia transparency literally glowing on the light table.

Digital however comes into its own when I am out at a gundog trial or similar where I may fire of 500 or more shots. Funny, I even find myself moaning about changing a CF card when it's full with 250 images forgetting that not that many years ago I had to change film every 36 exposures

Horses for courses I s'pose.

Envious of your Hassy though

Re: Massive Photoshop/Bridge problem, pls help???

My Hassy is literally the nicest thing I've ever had ever! Lol!
Digital is great for convenience but I just feel that it doesn't have the same magic as film!
I still want to go and use one of the 20x24 inch Polaroid cameras in America, thats my ambition for the next few years to get enough money!!!!

Ah well....I can dream!
