Photography bad for your health????

I have just given myself a nose bleed

How? and what has this to do with photography.

Well, I have bought a new light tent, as my other one met an accident with some blackcurrant juice, (thanks kids)

It arrives this morning, and in my eagerness to see my new purchase, I had a complete brain fart, and forgot, it is
a) collapsible

b) coiled up ready to spring out!

So, eager beaver me has it way too close to my face, and unzips the bag, it is in, coiled up in a nice circle, I pull the material , and yep, it pops up into a big square, smack onto my nose

No, I didn't bleed on the light tent, that would of been the final kick in the teeth. So feeling a bit stupid and sore

Anybody else been hurt by photographic equipment???

Well done best laugh of the day.

I have fallen down some steps before trying to take a pic of a surfer.

I have a reflector and cant fold it up again it twists somehow but I can't work it out.

It really did smack me on the nose, the weird thing is, I started to giggle with tears in my eyes the language was delightful, too

LOL I can imagine you doing that, did anybody see you do itthat is even worse, when you have witnesses and was your camera okay

Oh! poor Suzi hope a coffee and a few painkillers will ease the situation, and of course, you have the new toy to play with.

Only problem I have is backing into trees, falling over dogs and plants because eye is glued to view finder but not to date drawn blood, as to equipment I am always pinching my fingers in the tripods, you'd think I'd learn but I don't.

Re: Photography bad for your health????

LOL there is nothing to see Azz, no bruise or anything, just a bit sore if you touch it.

Tommy, I have to agree with Azz, it was worth the cut head, as that shot is great!
