jewelery photography

how do you guys set up a jewelery pic.

rings, ear rings necklaces ect for the wedding pics?

what is the best background lighting and any other tips really.

grateful for any input


oh and the wedding shoes pics. any ideas or examples???

There are loads of different ways of doing this! It just depends on your creative streak! But try and keep your DoF shallow as not to distract from your main focus.

Lighting will be your biggest issue so invest in some good bounce cards/diffusers. A small portable lightbox may be an interesting solution if you wanted a more "clinical" look to the jewellery but you will need some extra lighting for that.

just ordered some reflectors.

is a light box the same as a light tent
