Picture This - Channel 4 - Sunday 6th Jan 08

Did anyone watch this last night... if so what are your opinions on this program??

Thought it was a little dull, not sure these are the pick of Britains talent in photography... i'm sure there are better out there.

I like their ideas though and has given me food for thought.... must get more confident and a trip into town and just approach people is what i need to do i think. My main problem is that i find it hard approaching people and also telling people what i want in an image.

I will definitly be watching next week...

I was flicking through the channels and caught the opening credits lol I'm sure it will be repeated during the week some time... it is channel 4

i watched it too and think the judges was abit harsh on em but hey that competition !i dont think they should have vote that bloke out thou !found his pics here on flickr !

like you, im also finding it hard to approch to people esp when i see something, they spot me and walk away ! drat !lol

That particular programme is repeated tomorrow morning at 05.00 on ch4 or 06.00 on ch4+1 the next programme is on sun 13th ch4 at 7pm, I didn't see it, but I'll try to remember to record it

I did watch it last night and was very angry at the judging. It seems very strange how they judge the photographers and their images. The two out of the six that I expected to be sent away are still there.

The general idea of the program is good but I am not sure that they have the right judges for the results, it might have been better letting the public judge the results too.

i did think the judges harsh too... they are looking for an art photographer and to be honest... would Joe Public know what to look for in an image?

The judges are so basic in their breif as to what they want to get in the image... then they say to the camera that they prefer a simple image a nice clean image... then shoots the guy down for keeping it safe lol!
