Re: Eisa Awards 2010-2011

Wouldn't it be nice if they did awards for the best all time ever in those above. That would be a real challange.

Re: Eisa Awards 2010-2011

It's all a load of rubbish anyway... Since when is a Sigma 17-70 better than a Nikon 24-70 etc. etc. Probably a bit like the soap awards...hmmm, Corrie wins it last year so Eastenders this year...Nikon last year, Canon this year...oh, and thanks for the free cameras and that promo journalist holiday to try out our range of stuff Mr Canon, Nikon, Pentax etc etc. Probably agree though that the best camera around is that D3s,,,too good for me...

I don't know but maybe these awards are only for new gear since the last awards were given

Re: Eisa Awards 2010-2011

I have several items on that list

As for the Sigma 17 -70, I bought it when I bought my D300, and for the money it's an awesome lens, no, it isn't in the same league as my 24-70, but it didn't cost even a third of the price that lens has cost me So maybe, it is decided by value for money, as well as performance, who knows how they decide there things, but it I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone.
