Dew Drop Refractions

Here are some Dew Drops with flowers placed behind them so that it refracts back in the droplet.

Sometimes as many as 10 shots are needed to obtain the required DOF to get everything in focus as the DOF is so small at the magnifications used. The shots are then combined in stacking software or in photoshop.

All shots are taken handheld. Enjoy.

Re: Dew Drop Refractions

Thanks Ken. Number three is my favourite, the crispness of the refraction and the position of the drop on the blade of grass is couldnt have been better. If i could do it again i wouldnt have centered it in the frame but hey ho.

If you need any help or tips ask away.
