Helvetia Tavern

A beautiful sunny day is just what the doctor ordered. Couldn't pass up the chance for a short 30 mile ride on my scooter. I've been to Helvetia Tavern many times before so this may look familiar. Makes a pretty good backdrop for the scoot.

Nice shot Bob.

Great colours and they're really standing out in that light.

Certainly looks a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink.

I try & take turns riding my two motorcycles. I took the Triumph Rocket out and washed it Sunday so I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen riding it. You see I ride 365 days a year including fun 200 mile rides in the rain. If you don't like to ride in the rain you won't ride much in the Pacific Northwest where it rains 8 out of 12 months.

I like the scooter for around the town jaunts of less than 100 miles while taking the rocket for 200-400 mile rides. Now I've added a 3rd vehicle, a Smart car that gets 39 mpg and is fun to drive. So many toys, so little time to enjoy them all.

I have only 100 days left before retirement where I'll double the days to ride/drive.

It's a great lace to eat & drink Phil. Their Jumbo burger is over half a pond of beef plus toppings. It takes quite an appetite and two hands to tackle one.
