Bought a new lens

I bought a new lens for my Nikon D40 last week Got meself a 18-135mm zoom for it cos I was fed up of changing lenses all the time and I couldn't afford the 18-200mm one so ended up with the shorter one instead Everyone at work was laughing at me cos I was excited about buying it - am I really that sad?! It's a dead sexy lens though and am well chuffed with it.

I've been taking pics but not got round to uploading them yet, and the big steam train is going through were I live on saturday so I'm going out getting pics of it.

Oh thats a fab lens and should produce some good images! Might get pricey though when it comes to buying filters for it!!

Love how you call it sexy/! Thats what i do with mine and people look at me like im odd (ok so there may be some truth in that look....) They just dont understand!.....

I'm sort of getting used to the funny looks now and I honestly don't care. I love walking round Jessops, or even just staring longingly through the window at things I can't afford but they are just sexy No two ways about it really

Yeah, filters are pricey and I'm skint now after buying the lens so am waiting till next month to get some but they're on the shopping list

hey cool ! i have this "sexy" lens and love it !bought it with the camera D80 coz i knew it would be a pain changing lens. now im glad i paid extra ! i really really really want a macro lense,flash,point&shoot camera, monopod, beanbag etc etc etc !!!! everything that i cant blooming afford !!!!!!
