My girls

Here are some shots I took of my girls. I don't have all the stuff I need so did the best I could. They're not that good but all c & c welcome

This is Chloe

And Gaby

And both of them, I think this is my favourite, although like I said, not that good

Re: My girls

Great shots.

I don't really do 'portraits' but the 'techy' stuff aside - you've got them doing their stuff. I spy some attitude in these pics and I say this with some degree of trepidation as I have an 8 year old daughter and a girly bump 13 weeks away. LOL

Re: My girls

Nice photos, but as you have asked for comments in picture 2 of Gaby the big giveaway of editing is along the shoulders. Generally this is due to over sharpening, something which I have tended to do myself. Maybe a diffuser over the flash would soften the picture a bit.
Also check the background the horizontal line on the wall behind is far sharper in the second picture to the first.

I came to this conclusion as your camera settings were the same for Chloe (exif files) but that picture doesn't look so sharp and the better for it. Others may well disagree.

Lighting has already been mentioned so I won't repeat what others have already said.

As I don't do portrait photography maybe I am way off beam, its just the way see the picture technically.

Re: My girls

Azz, thanks Lighting is a problem as is room, not enough really.

Phil thanks Yep my girls definately have plenty of attitude but they love posing for me which is cool And congrats for your baby girl

Bazz, thanks Editing is down to OH at the mo cos I'm hopeless Must learn though if I want to get anywhere

Again I have real problems with room in here so it does pose problems as ideally the subject needs to be further away from the background than they were. Might try some outdoor pics at some point, they'll probably be better

Thanks so much for your comments guys, it really does help

Re: My girls

Not going into techie stuff, sore head

But I really like them they are really natural and being themselves, having a daughter, I know the attitude
