Is it worth a second look ?

I came across these images on a Russian web site, they ranged from bland to horrific. Some of them, I wanted to take a second look. So what is it that draws you to linger when viewing an image ? I have selected twelve to share with you. Do they grab your attention and if so why ? I will post one a day and invite your comments.

Panasonic Lumix G5

Re: Is it worth a second look ?

Interesting photo, just got to mention about copywrite infringement and seeking approval first to publish other peoples photos. Don't want this site to get into trouble for doing so.

Re: Is it worth a second look ?

I did think that these images would prove to be a good topic for discussion. They are posted in a public gallery on a web site open to everybody. However, it appears from over 50 views that apathy reigns (apart from one comment more concerned with copyright issues). I don't want to rock the boat so I will refrain from posting any more of the images here. I still think this is a good topic for discussion so I will post links direct to the remaing eleven images. Anyone interested can go direct to the web site and browse at will. Be warned however that if you are at all squeamish there are pictures here that you will not want to view.

Re: Is it worth a second look ?

Always best to post links, not the photos themselves, that way the site or anyone will get into trouble. We all would dearly love to post other peoples photos, but the question one has to ask ones self is " If I had spent a lot of time -trouble and cost in taking a photo, would I like someone else to pinch/use it without asking permission or contributing to the cost?" and that is the criteria one should think of first and foremost.

Re: Is it worth a second look ?

Ive taken a look at all 11, i find them a bit twee although a couple did appeal. But im biased, i dont like captive animals being put in unnatural settings.

Decent enough photos.
