RE Panasonic HC-X900M camcoder order with Jessops

I placed an order with Jessops and have had to cancel , read below.

No wonder Jessops is going down the pan, Just cancelled my order with them which was for about £849.99 as they have absolutely no idea when they can deliver. somewhere within 28 days so they say " HA HA ". Just not good enough when they are competeing with the likes of Amazon.

So placed order with Amazon with a confirmed delivery date of a 1 day delivery by Tuesday today being Sunday On top of that Amazon are £7 cheaper than Jessops as well.

Thats the kind of service that wins orders, Jessops REALLY need to replace their management and employ those who are up to date with modern selling methods and time scales.

Couldn't agree more Bazza. Service should be the norm, we shouldn't have to expect to pay for it.

Just been talking to a retired Jessops director with an ear to whats happening and it looks as if as stores leases are due for renewal Jessops arn't renewing. Both my and his local shops have closed already. Maybe they will become on-line retailers only. Its mainly owned by HSBC anyway with a few private investers

*sigh* it's a shame that the shops are going down the pan because of internet sales I understand why, and am just as guilty of buying online too... but I do wonder sometimes if we are creating a rather strange world for the future... with no shops, even fewer jobs... no thriving towns etc...

I cancelled the order twice by email to Jessops and also by phone and guess what they have just notified me they have sent it. How thick can they get !!!!!
Of course I shall refuse delivery and have already prepared a letter to their CEO about the matter and demanded my money back.
