Food photography
I was on the hunt for recipes earlier, and thought what a difference the photograph makes in you wanting to try the recipe or not.

I've not done any photography for recipes as such but I've shot some home grown veg.

I do still take food pics, especially when I'm trying out a new recipe. The last food shot I took, was homemade Minestrone not quite as appealing or naughty as cakes though

Good stuff guys - look forward to seeing them! I don't think you can go far wrong with food photography, so many bright colours and varied shapes (and dishes!) to choose from.

I've been experimenting with off-camera flash, having recently picked up a YongNuo 560 II strobe, a Jessops 360AFDS TTL flash and some wireless triggers. I thought I could combine strobist experimenting with the food photography section, as I'd just made some lovely scones.
Only, by the time I'd set up the stands, the wine, the plate, the flashes, the reflectors...
