I don't use live view it was a matter of laying on the ground to get the low angle.
I'm always in trouble for getting so muddy when out with the dogs

I've used live-view a few times now and find it quite good, you should give it a try, plus you won't get in to trouble

Ailla is a lovely looking dog. I too love the angle the shot is taken from, definately best to get down on their level when photographing them. Nice capture
