Re: Where would you most like to go with your camera?

I have absolutely no doubt that if I had a substantial amount of money in the bank I would buy 'freedom'. Mansions and Porsches, nice, but freedom to go and see all the things I won't see having to work for a crust and the reality only really getting a couple of weeks away somewhere. I would just travel particularly to the Middle East and around Asia, China, Vietnam, then to the Phillipines, Australia...and with a D700, just about the right size! Photography, life, alcohol and er...well it's all out there isn't it... Problem is most of us don't get to see it all, just stuck in a small life...and then you die. Your question may have only been casual Azz, but for me this feeling is burning up inside to go and do these things but I guess not easy to walk away from good job, good pension... but that's where i would go with my camera!

America
I am looking forward to exploring with my camera. As it has everything from deserts to lush forests.Plus, some amazing wildlife to watch, as I am no good at wildlife photography I am looking forward to discovering lots of new flowers too.Oh, and benches

Re: Where would you most like to go with your camera?

I was fortunate enough to go out to the states last year, we had a drive up to the town of mojave, right on the edge of the mojave desert, it absolutely fascinated me, it just looked so other worldly, that would be my first destination of choice.

Re: Where would you most like to go with your camera?

I always fancied being a soldier of fortune or a war photo journalist; images from war torn countries are generally packed with emotion and powerful messages.... which often move me.

For that reason for me it would have to be Afghanistan, Iraq, Central Africa, South America.

Re: Where would you most like to go with your camera?

There's so many places I'd love to go and photograph.

The himalayas would have to be top of the list. Closer to home I'd like to spend a few days on Skye. For some reason I've never really done much photography when I've been there.

Kit 2
