Hey watch It Bazza

That is because I am still getting out of the habit of clicking away, it is not a photographic backward step.

I have had some nice pictures, already thank you

I would say me learning film is improving my photography.

You obviously don't like film, but some of us do love the qualities of film.

Interesting, a lot of people seem to feel that way these days. I'm studying Photography at degree level and we haven't touched our DSLRs its all film based. I love using the dark rooms and I've just bought myself an enlarger to make a dark room at home. It has certainly improved my photography, as I don't have the luxury of deleting photographs I have 24 or 36 shots and I make each one count so that I get a good set of negatives, instead of uploading 100 shots just because I can!

I went to a wonderful exhibition yesterday at the Glynn Vivian Gallery for a talk with the artists and both photographers used film, the one medium format film and the other just a pinhole camera made from an old box, lit with a cine film projector. The later was the most inspirational work I've seen in a long time. Too much emphasis is placed on having the "best" camera equipment, its not the case to get truly great photographs.

Enjoy experimenting with film! Look forward to seeing your pictures.
